Purpose
Assesses the impact of enrollment in Dolly Parton‘s Imagination Library on school outcomes by linking their data with the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) and the Kansas Children’s Cabinet and Trust Fund. The goal is to improve the state’s linking of data across service systems for the purpose of:
- matching children participating in the Imagination Library already the state’s education database
- identifying children not yet in the state’s education database first interacting with services through the Imagination Library
- retaining key Imagination Library data needed to improve understanding, evaluation, and expansion of services
- assess the impact of enrollment in Imagination Library on school outcomes (e.g., 3rd grade literacy)
