Early Childhood Block Grant

ECBG Programs

Kansas Early Childhood Block Grant funds are distributed to school districts, child care centers, Head Start sites, and community programs that provide preschool and research-based child development services. The grant process is driven by accountability measures with a focus on underserved areas and children needing additional supports. ECBG programs collect and use data to help ensure broad access to services and high impact.
